Tamara and Scott’s relaxed wedding day at Chapel in the Hollow was a beautifully personalized celebration set against the picturesque backdrop of East Tennessee near Gatlinburg. Tamara crafted a stunning floral centerpiece that adorned the chapel, complemented by our soft blush fabric, creating a romantic and inviting atmosphere for their special day.
Tamara was absolutely radiant in a sleeveless cream dress, elegantly detailed with pearl and crystal on the bodice, and for the ceremony, she donned a pearl-studded veil, adding a touch of classic bridal elegance. Scott matched the rustic charm of the venue in tan plaid pants, a nubby tan vest, and a stylish flat cap, completing his look with heartfelt tears as he saw Tamara in the archway.
The ceremony was filled with emotional moments, including a touching reading by Tamara’s sister. Both Tamara and Scott were visibly moved, getting choked up during their vow exchange, which resonated deeply with their guests.
The couple chose a two-tier naked cake for their cake cutting, a sweet symbol of their union. Afterward, we captured memorable photos at various scenic spots on the property, including the old jeep Willis truck and the wooded areas.
Tamara switched up her look for the photos on the road and at the field, donning star boots, a pearl cowgirl hat, and a star-studded denim jacket, adding a playful and stylish twist to her bridal attire.
Their celebration included some light-hearted moments as well, with Scott particularly enjoying the dirty jokes we used to coax out real laughs during their photo session. The presence of Scott’s daughter added to the joy of the day, making it even more special for him.
Congratulations, Tamara and Scott! Your wedding beautifully reflected your personalities and love for each other. May your life together be filled with as much laughter and joy as your wedding day!
From the Bride
We met at work in 2012, but did not start dating until 2021. We have this thing where we will randomly look at one another and say “DID YOU EVER THING WE’D BE DOING THIS”, because no one is more surprised by us getting together than us even 3 years later. On our first date we took a day trip Frankenmuth, Michigan to a little German town with Bavarian architecture that is 1.5 hours north of us, and got the world famous (seriously, it is) chicken dinner. We got engaged during another day trip to Frankenmuth, where the first date took place.
We both grew up going to Gatlinburg with our families and love the mountains, and stumbled across Chapel in the Hollow and could not imagine getting married anywhere different. On our wedding day we are looking for to ALL OF IT!!
We love going to estate sales, thrifting and garage sales, we love finding treasures for ourselves and also to flip.
