Amanda and Michael’s East Tennessee summer elopement at Chapel in the Hollow was a heartwarming celebration of love, set in the enchanting forest of the Smoky Mountains. They beautifully dressed the chapel in blush and dusty sage fabrics, complemented by our delicate blush and bashful florals, creating a romantic and inviting atmosphere for their special day.

Amanda’s grandmother played a special role in helping her get ready, adding a generational touch to the preparations. Amanda looked stunning in a beaded dress, customized with straps she added herself, and a medium train that gracefully trailed behind her. Her look was completed with a long, pearl-studded veil adorned with a jeweled comb, adding a touch of elegance and sparkle.

Michael was dapper in a tan suit paired with brown shoes, wearing a meaningful boutonniere that included a photo of his mom, keeping her close during such an important moment in his life.

Her daughter stood proudly with them as the maid of honor, sharing in the joy and excitement of the day. The ceremony was a beautiful representation of their love, blending their backgrounds and families in the serene setting of an outdoor chapel.

Congratulations, Amanda and Michael! Your elopement was not just a union of hearts but a celebration of family, love, and the beauty of new beginnings. May your lives together be filled with as much joy and love as your wedding day.

From the Bride

We met at a dance club 15 years ago. We danced and exchanged numbers and the rest is history. For our first date we went to the movies and his sunroof leaked all over me when he hit the brakes. He proposed with rose petals on the floor, he asked me before work and sent flowers to my job. We decided to get married at Chapel in the Hollow because I came across your Facebook page and loved your photography and also liked the venue. The wedding is a surprise and no one knows but my Grandmother and Daughter. On our wedding day I am most looking forward to the photos and surprising everyone. We like trying new food and activities together and are always looking for something new to experience together.
